Responsibilities:
• Installation and implementation of Verint software solutions at customer sites, while explicitly
following defined processes, system requirements, and customer needs
• Prepare for installations by reviewing site requirements. Obtain software and review relevant
documentation prior to starting the installation.
• Stage the installation and upgrades in a lab environment prior to the site visit when necessary.
• Assist the Project Manager and customer in preparing for client-side application roll outs and
training room setup.
• Perform implementation of software and hardware solutions, integrating with the customer’s
network, PBX, and CTI equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they occur. Maintain ownership of issues that are
escalated by working together with support personnel.
• Provide direction and feedback to the project team based off experiences to help plan for and
anticipate a successful implementation.
• Complete installation on time as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
• Promptly provide communication to the project manager and any other relevant team members
on issues encountered, needs and requirements required to help plan and resolve any issues.
• Perform Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the end of the installation with visible customer
participation and involvement.
• Document activities and time on a daily basis, provide daily update to the PM and site
documentation at the end of the installation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, relevant internal resources and customer regarding
assignment and customer’s needs/expectations
• Provide basic system administration knowledge transfer to technical users.
• During each phase the PSE is expected to manage the customer relationship and expectations,
communicate effectively, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in internal and external training classes, or special projects as needed.
Education:
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
Skills:
• Strong follow-through in completing the implementation in a defined timely manner which
includes the documentation for the implementation and the reporting documentation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability for attention to detail necessary to review and follow job requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a stressful, time-sensitive and challenging environment
• Ability to work independently
Requirements:
• 3 + years field experience in implementing systems and providing high level customer service
• Must have minimum 3+ years of Experience in on-site installations and upgrades
• Network certification, MCSE Certification
• Strong working knowledge of MS SQL
• Strong working knowledge of PC (2000/XP/Vista/7/8) and Microsoft Network
• Strong working knowledge of server (Windows 2003, 2008, 2012) and networking (TCP/IP, hubs,
routers, switches, firewalls)
• Strong working knowledge of IIS, active directory, MS Terminal Server, Citrix MetaFrame, SMS
server, SNMP, .Net, and VoIP
• Knowledge of Server and Desktop Virtualization (VMWare)
• Strong hands-on experience configuring and servicing commercial servers including HP/Dell/IBM
which may include troubleshooting and replacing hard drives, CPU, memory, controller cards,
SCSI/SAS devices and cables
• Strong experience in deploying or integrating telephony and CTI solutions
• Experience working with predictive dialers (Avaya PC, Aspect Conversations) and CTI servers
(UCCE, Genesys, Symposium, CT, AES)
• Strong experience in performing implementation of software and hardware solutions, integrating
with the customer’s network, PBX and CTI equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they occur. Maintain ownership
of issues that are escalated by collaborating with support personnel.
• Available to work afterhours and weekends
• Ability to travel
• Bilingual, with strong English written and verbal skills
Assets:
• Experience working with Verint products
• Certification in Cisco, Citrix, and telephony related products
• Experience working with Avaya, CISCO, Aspect, Rockwell phone switches
